Drive-AwayDolls is a sex comedy. It’s pointedly raunchy and has a wide variety of lesbian sex from the silly to the sexy to the romantic to the silly/sexy/romantic all at once. It’s also a very dildo-heavy movie which isn’t something we see very often! Despite its brisk runtime, this movie has lots and lots of sex. If you’re going to be anywhere near Toronto in the next few weeks, make a dash to the Toronto International Film Festival to catch the sexy, dramatic lesbian romance which is already getting major raves.
‘Chloe’ is about a woman named Catherine who lives the perfect family life with her husband and her teenage son. But an incident makes her suspect her husband of infidelity, and she decides to hire an escort named Chloe to test the faithfulness of her husband. As Chloe’s meetings with Catherine and her husband increase, a strange tension between all three of them starts building up. With this slow build-up, the film leads you to a very sexy and intimate scene with Julianne Moore and Amanda Seyfried that really sets an example for how a hot lesbian sex scene should be shot in a film. Why it’s sexy: Aside from containing the first nude lesbian sex scene in a major film, “The Hunger” is dripping with yearning, curiosity, playfulness, and intrigue from start to finish. Not to mention, Susan Sarandon in a wet t-shirt. —JD
Why it’s sexy: The lesbian sex scene in “Bound” is only 20 seconds long or so, but it was groundbreaking at the time and still holds up as pretty hot today. And the film outside the one scene is hot as hell too, with Tilly and Gershon sharing a charged chemistry that makes all their scenes sizzle. Plus if you find the aesthetic of “The Matrix”with all that leather and ’90s punk looks arousing, this film — where both women look a lot like Trinity — was practically made for you. —WC
