Naked and Afraid (2015) Season 4 Episode 17: The Swarm Days before the two contestants are to begin their journey, the crew and producers are attacked by a swarm of African bees. On their highest guard, military man Dustin and Tara, a mom from Colorado head to the jungles of Panama where they must deal with the lack of food and an issue starting fire.Of all the episodes I’ve seen I might argue that this here was the weakest. I say this because the two cast members really aren’t the most entertaining that the series has offered and the laziness of Dustin becomes a point of drama that eventually leads to some entertainment. The location itself was quite good as the two have to deal with extremely large cockroaches and the look of Tara’s body after being bitten so much was certainly a very cringe-worthy moment.Episode: B
I like how Tara unites with mother earth and the survival world together. She pulls through crazy bug bites and did a great job surviving nearly solo. Does she have the most bug bites in Naked and Afraid recorded history? If she was with another partner, she would’ve eaten more and had enough nutrients for higher energy and movement. I’d like to see her on an XL, however she should gain some more weight before. Tara ended up pretty thin at the end. Tara is very inspiring and proves you can overcome a lot in a harsh environment and still remain friends with mother nature in a sweet natural kind way.
Later this season, two veteran fan-favorite survivalists return to mentor two newcomers in an all-women tribe’s challenge in Colombia; a pair of Naked and Afraid critics use their armchair survival knowledge to attempt to make it through a 14-day fan challenge; and a survivalist must cope with menstruation in the middle of the African bush. Scarce food resources and mosquito-infested tropics are just the beginning of what lies ahead for these survivalists.”

Twelve Naked and Afraid All-Stars take on punishing locations together. The survivalists try to last up to 60 days with no food, water, clothes or shelter. Does teaming with other elite survivalists help their chances or make the challenge more difficult?
