Turkish female referee Elif Karaarslan claimed that the leaked sex tape apparently featuring her with referee observer Orhan Erdemir, who is 37 years her senior, was a product of AI and decided to take legal action.
Karaarslan, who has 404,000 followers on Instagram, denied being the person in the leaked sex tape and she intends to appeal.
Referee Elif Karaarslan, 24, was caught up in a high-profile scandal after a of her having sex with 61-year-old FIFA inspector Orhan Erdemir was leaked online. After the video became public and went viral on social media, the Turkish Football Federation revoked the licenses of the main characters in the video.
Karaarslan strongly denies the fact, saying, “The woman in the leaked video is not herself.”
